How to Add Custom Fields for Clients in Menthory
Menthory CRM allows you to tailor your database structure to fit your unique business metrics. If the standard onboarding templates don't capture all the data parameters you need, workspace administrators can easily create specialized custom fields for client profiles.
Step 1: Open Client Data Settings
Navigate to the left-side main menu and click on the Settings gear icon.
Scroll down to the CRM configuration section and click on the Client's Data Fields option block.

Step 2: Initialize a New Parameter Field
You will see a repository listing all your active account fields. Scroll down to the very bottom of this database checklist.
Click the + Add Field button.

Step 3: Select Your Field Type Archetype
A slide-up contextual type layout menu will appear. Select the information mapping design structure that fits your collection targets:
Text Field / Text Area: Best for open-ended comments, notation entries, or descriptions.
Single Select Field: Creates a strict dropdown list where users can select only one distinct choice.
Multi Select Field: Allows your team to select multiple choices from a pre-defined list concurrently.
Other available choices include: Number, Link, Percentage, Date, Time, Attachment, Currency, and Rating options.

Step 4: Configure Data Options and Labels
Once chosen, a configuration template block will automatically populate at the bottom of the list:
Click into the Label text bar and type a recognizable title name for the field (e.g., "Requested Services").
If using a selection field type, click into the empty parameter fields under Values and type in your default options. Click the green + button under the list to continuously add more optional choice items.
(Optional) Check the Required field checkbox if team members must complete this section before saving a client profile.

Step 5: Save Settings Workspace Updates
Review all inputs to ensure label text entries and dropdown options are correct.
Click the orange Save button located at the bottom right corner of your screen to push the updates live.
